“Why does that woman look so familiar Zach?” asks Kendall
“She doesn’t look familiar to me.”Zach says
“I know I’ve seen her somewhere.”Kendall insists
“Kendall if you’ve seen her before it will come back to you. Right now we have to watch this woman and take the information back to Tad. Hopefully we will have something we can use.”Zach says
Hillary Wilson Georgia Martin Taylor continues out the door of the home. She looks behind herself and then to each side as if looking for someone. She looks frightened then she runs back in the house and pushes a stroller with a small child dressed in pink out the door. She gets as far as the curb when a car pulls up .A man about five feet eight inches burly and slightly overweight .His arms bulge from his black tee shirt he’s wearing with his black jeans. Hillary shrink, her body visibly crouching as if to ward off blows.
“Henry your home I was just taking Chloe for a walk.”Hillary says
“I told you to stay indoors today. I warned you what would happen if you went outside.”Henry says hitting her across the face.
“I’m sorry Henry.”Hillary says her lip bleeding profusely “I forgot. Please forgive me.”
Zach wants to go over and stop the man. Kendall stops him
“I think he’s stopped hitting her now. If we interfere now it could get worse for her. We’ll have to wait and then help her get away from that cretin.” Kendall explains
“What if we are wrong and he kills her?”Zach asks “Alexander was like that man he would hit my mother every time she disobeyed he’s dictates. He killed her.”
“I’m sorry Zach.” Kendall says touching Zach’s face “we will save her but if we go in now he could kill her before we save her.”’
“I know you’re right but my heart says step in and save her now.”Zach explains
“We’ll save her but if she’s a victim of abuse how can she be petitioning for Michael? Do you think this Henry is behind it?” Kendall asks
“More than likely Henry is behind this but what is his connection to this woman .Is he her lover? Husband?” Zach asks
“I don’t know but we have to find out. Wait a minute what you said triggered a memory of her .I know where I saw her.”Kendall says
Camera Switch to Pine Valley
Dottie and Tad are talking
“I hope Zach and Kendall are getting somewhere with this woman. I can’t believe that this woman thinks she would be better for Michael. We love him he has family with us. How can she rip him out of our arms. ”Dottie asks
Tad takes Dottie in his arms as says
“We won’t lose Mike we can’t. We will keep our boy.”Tad says
“Michael is worried. I know he senses some of our worry. I try to hide it but it’s so hard.”Dottie says
“I know sweetheart it will get better.”Tad reassures
“But you still have those murder charges as well it’s like our whole world is falling apart.”Dottie say
“Dottie we will get through this we have strong family ties. The Martin’s have big hearts and strong arms that shelter all they love.”
“I love you Thaddeus James Martin.”Dottie says
“I love you too Dorothea Martin.”Tad says
Flashback to Zach and Kendall
“As I said you’ve triggered a memory. I remember where I saw her before. She was in Tad’s or was it Jake’s photo album? Anyway I asked about her and Jake joked that she was the one that got away for Tad. I asked what he meant and he said she had been Tad’s wife. Zach, that is Hillary, Tad’s ex-wife.”Kendall explains
“Oh dear now that is going to really shake things up. “Zach states
“Yes I think the junk is just about to hit the fan.” Kendall says

“What are we going to do Tad? We can’t let her take Michael. He’s finally happy after all he went through. He has family with us .He has sisters, brothers and us his parents.”
“Maybe I should check out this woman?”Asks Tad
“You can’t leave town you’re on bail.”Jenny says
“And I can’t hire Aiden he’s busy working on my case.” Tad says”We need to find someone I can’t risk going to jail but what am I going to do?”
“I heard you Tad and if someone was trying to take on e of my kids you’d help.”Zach says creeping up on them followed by Kendall
“If Bianca will watch the kids will both scope out this woman.”Kendall says taking out her phone
“Binks?. How’s Reese? Uh huh. Reese is putting up another tower downtown huh. Wow she’s a busy woman. Yes Binks you’re making me blush of course she has as much time for you as Zach finds for me. Listen I need a favour Zach and I need to go out of town on business do you think you could watch Spike and Ian? You will thanks Binks you’re the best are you sure Reese won’t mind? Good then thanks.”Kendall says
“We’re in. ”Kendall says
“Thanks Kendall and Zach you don’t know how much this means to Dottie and I.”Tad says
“Hey what’s family for I mean you were Uncle Tad there for about five seconds when Mom was married to Jeff. I didn’t know Mom then but who’s counting?”Kendall says laughing
“Thank-you then neeice.”Tad says exaggerating the syllables
“You’re welcome unk!’Kendall says ”Now just fill Zach and I on the details of this woman’s name and we’ll go check her out.”
Tad fills them in and Kendal and Zach head to the airport where Zach has secured a plane to take them to Portland where Michaels’ aunt lives
Flashback to Dottie and Tad
“Do you think they’ll have any luck?”Dottie asks
“I hope so.”Tad says
“Do you think we should tell Michael about his Aunt petition for custody?”Dottie asks
“No let’s see what Zach and Kendall can dig up and then decide then.”Tad says as Michael hiding in the doorway hears and goes upstairs before they find him
Michael vows to runaway before he’ll leave with this unknown Aunt
In Portland
Kendall looks up the name in book phone
The name we see of the woman is Hillary, Hillary Taylor as Kendall’s finger slips down the phone book .
“And we didn’t look this up on my I-phone or yours because?”Zach asks
“I was being a P.I. old school.” Kendall says
Zach smothers a laugh and says” I got the address on my phone all ready.”
“Well so did I from that phonebook.”Kendall pouts
“Great work.”Zach says mollifying Kendall” we always make a great team.”
“Don’t we always?”Asks Kendall smiling as they get in a car and drive to Hillary Taylor’s.
They arrive at the home of Hillary and watch the home form down the street as A woman comes out we see only the back of her but as the camera zooms in on her face we see Hillary .Hillary Wilson Georgia Martin Taylor. Tad’s ex –wife Fadeout

"Court is in session all rise for the honourable Judge Olivia Frye."says the baliff
“Olivia is the judge?’Tad asks Jack whispering
“Sh Tad don’t say anything unless I address you.”Jack says ”and stand –up.”
“Are your legs broken Tad Martin?”Asks Olivia
“No Olivia I mean your honour.”Tad says
“That’s better in this court I’m to be addressed as you honour or Judge Frye is that understood Mr. Martin?” asks Olivia
“Yes your honour.” Tad says
“We are here to decide bail for one Thaddeus Martin. Counsel?” Olivia says
“Your honour Mr. Martin was found in the victim’s house with the murder weapon.” begins the new D.A. Frederick Boothe
“I object that is supposition your honour. My client was aiding the deceased who had been stabbed. .”Jack says
“That isn’t true Mr. Martin had the murder instrument in his hand.”Fred says heatedly
“Gentlemen we will get into this more at trial .And is said Mr. Martin a flight risk?” Olivia asks
“No your honour, Mr. Martin has a family and a wife that reside in Happy Valley.”Jack says
“This is a capital crime the accused does not deserve bail.” protests Fred
“I will decide what is appropriate Mr. Boothe.” Olivia retorts
“I apologise your honour.” Says Fred
“Bail is awarded in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars.”“How do you plea Mr. Martin?”Olivia asks
“Not guilty your honour.” Says Tad
Consulting her court calendar Olivia says
”Trial will commence on Friday October 1,2010.Mr.Martin see the bailiff to pay your bail. Court dismissed!”
“Thanks Jack .”Tad says
“Don’t thank me yet Tad it’s an uphill battle, and before you get any ideas of investigating yourself that’s all ready being handled.”Jack says
“What do you mean it’s being handled?” asks Tad his eyes narrowing
“He means this ...Fish and chips is on the job.”Aiden says
“Aiden you’re looking into this for me?”Tad asks
“Of course you’re my mate and you pay well don’t you?’Aiden says laughing ”lots of fish and chips?”
Tad laughs and pats Aiden on the back
“Let’s go pay your bail Tad and then you can go home with Dottie.”Jack says firmly
“But doesn’t Aiden need to know what happened that night?” asks Tad his eyes begging to stay and help
“No. I have your statement Tad. Tad you really need to let us do this. You can’t be involved anymore then you are.”Jack says firmly
“Come on Tad let’s go pay your bail. Dottie and i have been waiting.” Jenny says
“You should be home with your baby not here with me.”Tad says to Jenny
“Greg needs some father daughter time. What do you want to take away from his bonding?” Jenny jokes
“Thanks for coming Kiddo.”Tad says
“Anytime bro but hopefully not anytime soon.”Jenny says
“Come on Tad .You’re children need to see you.” Dottie says
Tad pays his bail but outside the courtroom he is approached by a woman.
“Thaddeus Martin you have been served!”Says the woman
“What? What’s this?’Tad wonders as he opens the papers and reads
Tad grimaces and says ”Great! What next?”
Jenny and Dottie asks him ”What’s wrong Tad?”
“Michael’s aunt is protesting my adoption of Michael and with me up on charges of murder she may win.”Tad says

“Is it true Jesse is she dead?” Asks Angie as Jesse comes in the door
“Ding dong the witch is dead! It is true Iris is dead as a doornail.” Jesse says
“Jesse she had a daughter. That poor girl.” Angie say
“Let’s hope that she doesn’t found out how evil her mother was.”Jesse quips
“Is it true has Tad been arrested?” Angie asks
“Yes but he says he didn’t do it and weapon in his hand or not I believe him.”Jesse says
“Did you tell him that?”Asks Angie
“Not in so many words.” Jesse says
"Well you should."Angie says
“I was there before the murder. Iris and I had words if anyone finds that out...”Jesse says quietly
“So was I. Oh Jess what are we going to do?”Angie says
“We’re going to find out who committed this murder and they are going to have to confess.”Jesse says
“But what if it was someone we know?”Angie asks
‘Honey people can’t take the law into their own hands no matter how much we might want to.” Jesse says
“I agree Jess but I hope this doesn’t end badly.”Angie says
“How can it do anything else? Iris was not a well liked woman.”Jesse says
“What can we do?” asks Angie again
“I’ve done what I can. I put Brot in charge of the investigation. know he’ll really investigate completely .”Jesse says
“And Natalia will help him.” Angie says
“Yes but that doesn’t mean we can’t investigate ourselves behind the scenes.” Jesse says
“I love you Jesse. We have to make this right for Tad.” Angie says
“I love you to Angela since the moment I met you stoled my heart.”Jesse says

Andrew’s mansion
“You are doing so much better Randi.”Jenny says as she lays down her baby Olivia next to Martin in the playpen”Look how happy our babies are to have a play date so regularly.”
“Gooood.”Randi manages to get out
“Yes it is good. You are speaking much better too.” Jenny says
“How’s your walking coming?”Jenny inquires curious
“Betta,” Randi says showing her how she can get across the room slowly with her two canes
“You are coming along very well. Before too long we will have you speaking complete sentences.”Jenny says
“I weeeel.”Randi says
“Randi you just did .it was a short sentence but you are speaking more clearly.”Jenny says “now let’s start the exercises for your mouth and throat.
“Good.” Says Jenny as Randi does them
”I think we’ll do something different today just to mix it up. We wouldn’t want you to get bored.” Jenny says turning on the television
They hear
” Police arrested Thaddeus Martin in connection with the murder of Mayor Iris Blanco.. Tad Martin is a well respected resident of Pine Valley. And is well known for his philanthropic contributions. Tad Martin is also the former producer and hosts of Nothing but the Truth and the Cutting Edge. He is also the father of this station’s T.J. Martin our lead anchor. When reached for comment T.J. had no comment. Details are sketchy at this point but please stay tuned to this station for updates after Mr. Martin’s arraignment.”
“TAD? Tad has been arrested? He would do this they have the wrong person.”Jenny says upset
“Wong man.”Randi says
“Thanks Randi. We better hurry and finish It seems I have to find a babysitter and go to court for my brother.”
Randi looks away and grimaces like she knows something.

Happy Valley Police Station
“Where is he where is my husband?” asks Dottie coming into the police station of Natalia
“I’m sorry Mrs Martin .He’s in the cells.”Natalia says” Would you like me to take you there?”
“Yes please Natalia. The girls are worried sick. Luckily T.J and Jaime are out of the country. I’m hoping we can get this settled and I won’t have to call either of them.”Dottie says
“You should probably call them Mrs Martin.”Natalia states
“Why?” Asks Dottie here eyes narrowing
“I’ll let Mr. Martin explain to you what happened.”Natalia says as she takes Dottie to tad in the cells
“Hi honey fancy meeting you here.” Says Tad joking
“It’s not funny Tad. Why are you locked up here?”Asks Dottie
“Have you heard about Colonel Mustard in the office with a knife?”Tad jokes
“Tad!” admonishes Dottie
“Well okay it’s Tad Martin in the closet while Colonel Mustard kills Iris Blanco.”Says Tad
“Are you saying you were there while Iris Blanco was murdered? Then why have they got you locked up and not the offender?” asks Dottie dumbfounded
“I didn’t see them and when I came out of the closet Iris was trying to take the knife out which would have caused massive bleeding so I tried to keep it in but she managed to get it out and she died.”Tad states
“I don’t understand why you’re here.”Dottie says
“She took the knife out and the police arrived and the knife was still in my hands.”Tad explains
“And they think you killed her? Surely Jesse knows you wouldn’t do that.” Dottie says
“Dottie honey, even Jesse can’t get me out of this one. If Jack doesn’t find out who did this or doesn’t leave doubt with the jury I’m going to jail” Tad explains
“This can’t be happening. That evil witch even in death she’s still ruining or lives.”Dottie says
“Dottie I’ve never heard you talk that way.”Tad says surprised
“Yes well you’ve never seen me when my family has been threatened.”Dottie says
“Quiet Dottie if they hear you they’ll think you’ll conspired with me.”Tad cautions
“I wish I had killed the bitch.”Dottie says as a police officer in the corner hears it all
“Dottie, honey it will be okay but for now you have to look after the home front I’m counting on you to look after the kids.”Tad says
“When can you get out on bail?”Asks Dottie
“Jack said the judge can’t hear my bail until tomorrow so I’m stuck here until at least then.”Tad says
“What am I going to tell Kathy and the others?”Asks Dottie
“Tell Kathy and the other kids I’ve been arrested but it’s all a mistake that will be straightened out soon.”Tad says
“Sorry Mrs. Martin but your time is up .You have to go now.”Natalia says
“Okay I love you Tad.”Dottie says
“I love you too. Te quiero con todo mi corazón mi reina” Tad says
“Ti amo.” Dottie says
“That was sweet.” Natalia says “Does Tad always says I’ll love you forever and call you his queen?”
“Tad is a romantic of course he does.” Dottie answers “Besides we’ve only been married less than a year and we’ve loved a lifetime.”
“Yes I heard you were married once before. How do you know that getting married is the right thing? asks Natalia ”how do you know that he’s needs won’t over shadow yours?”
“I take it this is about you and Brot?”Asks Dottie
“We’re engaged but I keep putting off the date and Brot is getting impatient with me.”Natalia answers
“Do you love him?”asks Dottie softly
“Yes but I want to be my own person. You know? Brot needs someone to look after him as much as he says he doesn’t .He’s all cross about that but he loves when I pamper him. Yet he takes time to pamper me when I come home.”Natalia answers
“So do you feel you have a partnership? Can you say anything to him even if he gets mad?”Dottie asks
‘Yes.”Natalia answers immediately
“Then I think you’ve answered your own question.”Dottie says
“I have haven’t I. Thanks Mrs. Martin.”Natalia says
“Dottie please Mrs. Martin is my mother-in-law Ruth.”Dottie says
“Thanks Dottie maybe I can pick a date now. I wonder would you consider being a bridesmaid? Now that Randi can walk a little with her cane I’m hoping she’ll be well enough to be my Matron of Honour soon.”Natalia asks
“I’ll be happy to hopefully by then this will be all over .I have to go now. Goodbye Natalia and let me know the date.”Dottie says leaving
Natalia goes over to Brot’s desk where he’s just come in from investigating Iris Blanco’s murder.
“Do you have a couple of minutes Brot?”Natalia says
“Maybe just a couple for you.”Brot says smiling
“ I want to set a date for our wedding how about Thanksgiving?”Asks Natalia
“Really?” says Brot pleased but surprised
“Really on Thanksgiving I want to be Natalia Fowler-Munroe” Natalia says
“You decide to take my name?”Brot asks surprised and pleased again
“”Yes I figured it would be easier once we had kids if they had the same last name.”Natalia says smiling
“I love you Natalia.”Brot says
“I love you too but we are at work and we need to solve a case so let’s get back to work.”Natalia says but then looks around seeing everyone busy reaches down and kisses Brot on the lips. She straightens up and pretend she didn’t to the police in the station as Brot smiles happily.

The police station
“Tad? Why are you being brought to my police station?”Asks Jesse
“We found the perp standing over the body sir knife in his hand.” Explains the police officer
“What have you done now Thaddeus J. Martin.” asks Jesse
“I swear on my children’s lives I didn’t do this.”Tad says”I know it looks bad Jesse but you have to believe me.”
“I have to talk to this is officer sit tight Martin.” Jesse says
Jesse has a deep conversation with the officer as we watch with Tad from a distance. Jesse comes back to Tad’s side
“You have to believe me Jesse. I know how it looks but I didn’t kill Iris Blanco.”Tad begs
“I’m the police chief Tad and you’ve put in a bad position. I can’t favour you even if I believe you.”Jesse says “may advice call your lawyer and don’t say a word until he’s here. You’re going to need one. ”Jesse says
Jesse takes Tad into an interview room where he removes the handcuffs and hands Tad the phone. He then goes out into the outer room and barks
“Monroe.”
“Yes sir.” Brot says
“I’m recusing myself from this investigation because I’m so close to Tad but I expect to you to do a complete investigation in to this murder. “Jesse states
“Yes sir.”Brot says and starts by going to talk to the police officer who came on the scene of Iris Blanco’s murder
Jack arrives
“I’d like to see my client please.”Jack asks of Jesse
“Right this way counsellor.”Jesse says taking him Tad and leaving them alone
“So tell me Tad what happened?”Jack asks
“I went to the Mayor’s house and I heard something I hid in the closet. I heard some shouting.” Tad says
Flashback to Tad remembering and see him in the closet and realize the shouting was coming from Jesse
Flashback to Tad talking to Jack but not mentioning Jesse
“A number of other people came in. I heard footsteps voices. I think one of them must have stabbed Iris. I came out of the closet she was on the floor and she was trying to take the knife out of her back. I had to stop her Jack. I heard that you shouldn’t do that that the knife might be keeping you alive that once it’s out you die. And that’s what happened she manage to get it out and it was in my hand .The cops came in and she died .They arrested me.”Tad states
‘”You have gotten yourself in fine mess Tad. The police will investigate they’ll say you have motive opportunity and they caught you red handed. We can try and find the killer with an investigator but unless we do you’ll probably be convicted Tad.” says Jack
“I’m going to jail?”Asks Tad
“Not if I can help it Tad I’ll do my best.” Jack says “the first step getting you arraigned and out on bail.”
“Thanks Jack!” Tad says
“Thank me later Tad.” Jack says
