“May I open it? ’Randi asks
“If you don’t I’ll have to take it back to that store and you know I don’t want to do that.’Carmen says teasing and smiling
Randi opens and takes out a locket on a chain! She immediately starts crying
“I’m sorry baby .Hell I wouldn’t have done this if I thought it would make you cry.’ Carmen say reaching out to hug Randi
‘I’m crying for happy. This is gorgeous what a lovely chain.” Randi says looking at the necklace
“Open the locket .says Carmen
As Randi opens the locket we see the pictures inside on one side is Yvonne her mom and on the other side a picture of Randi, Carmen and Frankie all together.
“Oh Carmen it’s lovely. Where did you get my mother’s picture?’ asks Randi
“I borrowed it from you. Don’t worry yours is back. I had the photo studio make it small enough for the locket as well as the three of us!’
Randi’s cell phone rings she says excuse me everyone I’ll be right back
“May I speak with Randi Hubbard please?”Says the voice on the phone
“Speaking.’ Says Randi into the phone
“This is Dr. Clater’s office Dr. Clater would like to have you come back in to give you the result of your tests’ Says the voice
“Can’t you give me an idea what this is about?’Asks Randi
“Well I’m not suppose to do this but who cares this is my last day. You’re pregnant. I hope I didn’t do wrong telling you that! You are happy aren’t you? ’the voice asks
“Happy? I’m incredibly happy that’s so wonderful. Thank-you for telling me!’Randi says
“Just make sure you come into tomorrow the doctor needs to see you!’ Says the voice hanging up
Randi smiles and then walks over to Frankie she whispers in his ear
“We’re going to have a baby’ I’m three months pregnant.’
“What a wonderful present for your birthday. You should be seating .Can I get you and baby something to eat there are sandwiches over there if Tad hasn’t got to the table yet!’Frankie says fussing

Flash to Kira who’s got a got Colby and Pete’s wedding announcement Adam put in the paper! Instead of Colby‘s face in the picture we see Kira’s face on Colby’s shoulder’s next to Pete below the picture Kira has crossed out Colby’s name and put her own!

On the plane Yvonne thinks talking to Randi in her head trying to prepare what she’ll say to Randi
“ I was so sick with breast cancer baby! Did you know that I think you did! That scum Henry Andrew, your daddy just swooped in I thought he was just helping out when I was so sick! I should have known he was getting rid of the evidence of his infidelity so his wife didn’t find out about you! I’d kept the secret for 7 long years as he would drop by occasionally coming by putting money on my night stand like I was his mistress!

The lawyer was paid by the state and gave no defence I got 20 years! But I got out on parole a month ago!I promised that I would find you! It took me too long but I promise you Randi honey I’ll make up to you for what that scum Terrence did! We’ll be together you and your mama! Can you still sing like me? I wonder? You are so beautiful! Kira says aloud to herself as Pete continues sleeping” You didn’t deserve him you snarky rich bitch!You don’t even remember me do you Ms. Chandler we went to high school together. I’ve had some plastic surgery and lost 100 pounds. Pete didn’t recognise me either but I could tell he still liked me! I liked Sean Montgomery so you through yourself at him. I heard about that yacht party you sleaze! You treated me like dirt because I was poor but you were a skank!
You made fun of my clothes and bullied me at school with the others! Pete was always the most decent wonderful guy and you got your claws in him and made him miserable but he kept coming back! He was the only guy who stood up for me. But he wouldn’t even look at another woman but you! You get the cream of the crop and you treat him like dirt so he has to go drink at a bar? I loved Pete I thought he’d be happy getting what he wanted in you but I should have known! Every time I liked someone they liked you better but paybacks a bitch! Isn’t it? I’m going to make him happy and when he makes me pregnant that should get rid of you!’
Kira then throws herself at Pete and he drugged thinks she is Colby and starts making love to her!
Afterwards Pete still deeply unconscious Kira gets on the phone

Hearing no answer .Colby quickly put on her clothes and heads for Gregors Bar and Grill!
“Why is that person lying ? Pete would never go home with another woman!’ she mutters under her breath as she climbs the stairs. At the door she hesitates for a moment and then knocks. The door pops pen at her knock. Colby wonders aloud “should I go in?’
Colby goes in hears noises in the bedroom and goes to it to find Pete being nuzzled by Kira. Pete is still asleep beneath Kira but the only thing Colby sees is Pete’s bare chest and Kira’s bare shoulders.

“I’ve got a huge favour to ask you!’ says Peter face
“Whatever it is you’ve got it Pete! Tell me though what’s gotten you down so bad that you is like one of those hound dogs?’ asks Tad
“I’ve made some very bad investments and I can’t tap any of my trust fund from Dad until next quarter! Our rent is due and I’m flat broke! Colby’s store is going down the tubes she’s a great designer but a horrible business woman. She won’t let me home help her with the business side. I took a look at the books when she brought them home and there one big mess of red ink!’ she has her trust fund but I’m not leaving off my wife’s trust fund!’ Pete says the words all tumbling out
“I’ll loan you the money Pete but I’m telling you now marriage is a partnership and this her/his money and my money business it doesn’t work.” Tad cautions
“Didn’t you and any of your wives keep your money separate? ’ Pete asks
“Well let’s put it this way there was her fund and his fund but we talked about what the money was sent on and where it the money was going! I had an allowance and so did they!’ says Tad
“That sounds good but your marriages didn’t work out did they ? You were married what three times?’Pete says
“Gee why don’t you rub it in! Tad says putting on a hurt voice and then grinning
“Sorry didn’t mean anything by that bro!’
“Pete money didn’t break my marriages up neglect did! If you don’t water and feed the plant it dies! Same with woman and marriage you need to nurture it.’ says Tad “Talk over your worries talk about your dreams your hopes!’

“Yes I guess but I’m also having trouble getting a job! It’s almost like someone said something bad about me! You don’t think Ross....?”asks Pete

“No I guess not! I have three degrees though and I’m not getting any calls for interviews>why do you think that’s happening?’ asks Pete
“Poor interview skills? You know it’s a terrible economy don’t you?”asks Tad
“Yes I’ve heard that from a number of different people.” Pete states
“Even Dottie’s restaurant business is off!’She’s opening up earlier by herself and having fewer people work for her. It broke her heart to lay people off!’Tad explains
“Wow! That is bad because Dottie’s a good business woman she’s very savy!’ Pete waxes”are you sure you can afford to loan me the money? I don’t want to take food out of your children’s mouths!
“I took a job with The FBI but it’s a secret so keep it to yourself!’Tad explains “So it’s fine not to worry! I can loan you the money!’
“The FBI hired you why would they hire you?’ asks Pete
“I can’t really talk about it but it involves someone close to one of my ex wives! So keep this under your hat!’Tad says regreting the confidence
“So how’s Kathy and Aaron?’ asks Pete changing the subject ’and Michael?’
“Kathy’s doing much better! And Aaron is on the mend at his uncles. He is living with Ryan! Michael is happy so far! He’s enjoying school and Jenny has stopped tormenting him! I’ve taken that job with the FBI and with the money I’m making from the FBI we were able to hire a part time nurse for Kathy. Her name is Kira! Oh here she is now!”says Tad looking up
“Kira this is my brother Pete!’Tad says introducing them
Pete looks in wonderment at the vision in front of his eyes. Kira is five foot six .she is honey blonde hair tied back in a ponytail which she takes out while standing there and it falls out in corkscrew curls. Her eyes are blue and twinkling!
“Her lips so ruby red and perfectly shaped for kissing’ he thinks to himself and almost misses her saying
“How do you do Mr. Martin!’
“No he’s not Mr. Martin!’ says Tad trying to explain but Pete shoves him aside
“Oh sorry Pete!’ says Kira misunderstanding
“My name is Peter Cortlandt but you can call me Pete ‘says Pete charmingly
“Cortlandt of Cortlandt Electronics?’asks Kira interested
“Yes and what he doesn’t tell you is that he’s the husband of Colby Chandler Cortlandt!’ says Tad reminding Pete he’s married

“Thanks I think!’ says Pete “My wife is the beautiful Colby Chandler Cortlandt! She owns Chandler’s Fine Clothing downtown!

“While I heard some stuff about some of her employees coming into the hospital with drug over doses!’Kira says looking like she regrets saying anything

“Well I really shouldn’t but I hate how people take advantage of good people! Melanie Graham is the worst .She’s the manager I heard and she and some of the other staff Sherrisha Jones, Richard Thomas, Megan Denfield and Patricia Fields go in the back room and do drugs instead of serving customers and the only good staff member she has is Ashlee Sampson.Poor Ashlee is a little clueless but she has a good heart! Anyway that all I heard!’Kira tattles
