The hospital chapel
Angie comes into the chapel and sees Andrew praying out loud
‘Please God you finally get me back to my Grandchild please don’t take her or my other great grandchild. Andrew begs ‘Please don’t take my Randi.’
‘Randi’s your grandchild asks Angie shocked and surprised
‘Yes I’m Andrew Morgan .Randi is my grandchild.’ Andrew says
‘But how did you find Randi? asks Angie
“Is everyone that knows Randi coming out of the woodwork?’Angie asks no one in particular
‘Are you a friend of my Randi’s? Asks Andrew ’More prayers might help her and my new Grand babe
‘I’m her mother-in law my son Franklin is her husband.’ Angie explains
‘I saw Randi in an ad for Fusion.’ Andrew answers “I thought I would never find my granddaughter again!’
‘Where were you when your son was giving Randi away?’ asks Angie bitterly
‘I admit my son was wrong. I didn’t know. We lost touch shortly after he married Iris. Iris disliked me she hated that I stood up to her that I wouldn’t up with her pushing him around. He was like another person with her whatever she wanted he did. He was like some kind of robot with her she sucked the very life ,the very good out of him.’ Andrew says sadly
‘Yes I’ve known people like that.’ Angie admits
‘If I had known where Randi was i would have gotten her. They would tell me where she was .Said it was better for her. I didn’t agree but I got nowhere even my private detective couldn’t find her after he was gone.’ Andrew says ‘and now my arrival has shocked her so bad she’s gone into early labour.’
‘It wasn’t your fault that Randi is in trouble. She has eclampsia. It affects pregnant women and rises the blood pressure .They are going to go ahead and deliver the baby as soon as possible.’ Angie explains
‘God take care of them.’ both Andrew prays
‘Yvonne may come here. Are you okay with that?’ asks Angie
‘That woman is out? But she got twenty years .She killed my boy.’ Andrew says
‘She has suffered too. To take a life one she loved and lose her daughter.’ Angie says
‘What do you mean? My boy had his child.’ Andrew says
‘Only after he took her from Yvonne and then cruelly didn’t return giving her into the foster care system.’ Angie says
‘My boy didn’t take her Yvonne gave her to him that’s what Iris said. ’Andrew says
‘Really and you trust Iris after what you said?’ Angie asks
‘Well I don’t have to like the woman she killed my boy .I will however be civil to her for Randi’s sake as long as she doesn’t hurt my Randi!’ Andrew states
‘You better go slow Randi has had a lot of shocks lately with her Mom and her stepson coming into her life and now you so go easy with her. Be the grandfather she needs but only if she wants it.’ Angie says
‘I want to be in my granddaughter’s life again I won’t push however we will take it as slow as she wants.’ Andrew says
‘That’s good then.’ says Angie ‘Shall we pray for our grandbabies?’
‘Yes let us pray for them surely God will hear and protect them.’ says Andrew
