‘Give me another!’ says Pete slightly enebriated
“Why Peter Cortlant ! How nice to see you again!’ says Kira smiling
“Kira what a surprise ! I thought you were looking after Kathy!’Pete slurs out
‘I get some free time and Gregor’s makes the best burgers and fries!’ explains Kira
“I’m just going to have some more of this. Bartender another scotch rocks neat!’Pete says
“Whoa don’t you think you’ve had enough? How long have you been drinking?’ asks Kira
“What was it Gregor? Two pm I started drinking?’ asks Pete
“Yes Sir! But it’s Phil not Gregor! Gregor owns the bar!’ Phil says
“Pete don’t you think you should go home to your wife! ‘Kira says
‘No! She’s susch a beeotch!’Pete says starting to slur and not speaking clearly
“You had a fight with your Ms. Chandler!’Kira asks sounding excited rather than sympathetic
“Yesth! And she’s goin..be mad again,,I spent the grocery money on booze! Hahaha it’s better than clothes and shoes!’
‘Did Ms Chandler spend all your money on clothes and shoes ?’asks Kira trying to understand the conversation and stirring Pete to a table
“Yesth she spent her money and our money too! She’s overdrawn on her trust fund and mine too!’
“The Bitch!’ says Kira sympathetically” but you still have a trust fund right?’
“Yesth but I get none till summer!’ Pete says
‘Well that’s okay then that’s only a month and half away!’Kira retorts
‘But I have no money until then!’Pete whines
“You have relatives you can borrow from!’ Kira states ‘Right!’
“Yesth but its hume...humil..humilliating!’Pete slurs
“Well of course it is your wife should be your partner not a drain on you!’ says Kira still smoozing and taking out a vial from her purse that she doesn’t let Pete see. When Pete’s head is turned she slips it in his drink
“I think I’m getting really drunk!’Pete says laughing ‘I’ve never been dwunk er drunk!’
“Maybe you should come up to my place and get some coffee I live upstairs!’ says Kira
“Just coffee then I’ve got to go home to my wife!’ says Pete
‘Okay come on Pete!’ says Kira supporting him as they walk up the stairs to her apartment
The next morning
Kira says aloud to herself as Pete continues sleeping” You didn’t deserve him you snarky rich bitch!You don’t even remember me do you Ms. Chandler we went to high school together. I’ve had some plastic surgery and lost 100 pounds. Pete didn’t recognise me either but I could tell he still liked me! I liked Sean Montgomery so you through yourself at him. I heard about that yacht party you sleaze! You treated me like dirt because I was poor but you were a skank!
You made fun of my clothes and bullied me at school with the others! Pete was always the most decent wonderful guy and you got your claws in him and made him miserable but he kept coming back! He was the only guy who stood up for me. But he wouldn’t even look at another woman but you! You get the cream of the crop and you treat him like dirt so he has to go drink at a bar? I loved Pete I thought he’d be happy getting what he wanted in you but I should have known! Every time I liked someone they liked you better but paybacks a bitch! Isn’t it? I’m going to make him happy and when he makes me pregnant that should get rid of you!’
Kira then throws herself at Pete and he drugged thinks she is Colby and starts making love to her!
Afterwards Pete still deeply unconscious Kira gets on the phone
“Hello?’ asks the voice on the other end
“Ms.Chandler you don’t know me but I was at Gregor’s bar and grill and I saw your husband go upstairs with some woman! ‘Kira says quickly when Colby answers and then hangs up
“What?Pete ?Pete are you here?’ asks Colby
Hearing no answer .Colby quickly put on her clothes and heads for Gregors Bar and Grill!
“Why is that person lying ? Pete would never go home with another woman!’ she mutters under her breath as she climbs the stairs. At the door she hesitates for a moment and then knocks. The door pops pen at her knock. Colby wonders aloud “should I go in?’
Colby goes in hears noises in the bedroom and goes to it to find Pete being nuzzled by Kira. Pete is still asleep beneath Kira but the only thing Colby sees is Pete’s bare chest and Kira’s bare shoulders.
‘Don’t let me interrupt I’m only his wife’ says Colby "I hate you Peter Cortlandt your just like our fathers!'slamming the door and leaving going out down the stairs and headed home crying!
“Game, Set, Match!’says Kira
Fadeout
