Happy Valley- Part 19- Kathy Dilemma

Caitlin's office where she writes a message to on a pad of paper we see
Dr.McGillis you found your son in your home at he bottom of the stairs.It appears he was beaten and pushed down the stairs by an unknown assailant!

then she tucks it into Caitlin's white coat pocket
Cailtin sits in the chair and her facial expression changes to a take charge doctor and we see Caitlin is back as she finds the note in the pocket reads the note and hurries to the ER!
There she finds David working on Kathy who's been brought in and Jake working on Aaron! Both doctors feverishly trying to save them both!
'Is my son going to be okay Jake?' ask Caitlin franticly
"I'm sorry Cailtin I can't says right now!We have to get an MRI to determine the extent of his injuries and then we'll be tkaing him straight to surgery!'says Jake
'But he's going to be okay?'pleads Caitlin
'It's touch and go right now a matter of waiting! 'says Jake
David working on Kathy trying to get her stabilized!Tad is pacing outside in the halway
'Saying I knew I shouldn't have left her alone!What kind of father leaves his child alone when they are ill no matter what they say?'he says aloud to himself
'Tad!' says Dottie appearing beside"Don't blame yourself it appears Kathy went soemwhere when you were gone!why didn't she just call we would ahve gotten her wahtever she needed.I left my cell number with her told her I could be home at a moments notice!"
"it's my fault Daddy! I was so mean to Kathy! I told her Aaron was cheating on her she must have gone out to see him!'says Jenny
"Oh no poor Kathy!Why did you do that Jenny? Why were you so cruel to your sister you know she's ill!
"I'm sorry Daddy!You know when I was little and you used to tell me those stories about that green eyed monster lady the one that tried to hurt the princess at the dance?'
"Yes!' says Tad blushing knowing the stories were about Liza and Dottie would realize this
"Tad!' you didn't says Dotiie reproachfully
"Well I was the green eyed monster I was mad because of everything and I was mad at Kathy because she was right!and I'm never going to forgive myself if anything happens to her 'Jenny says crying and throwing herself in Tad's arms
"Do all girls cry at a drop of hat like that?" asks Mike of Dottie coming up with coffee for the adults and hot chocolate for himself and Jenny!"is Kathy okay?'he asks worried
"Kathy is still being worked on but David does seem quite so upset so I think it maybe working whatever he's doing!"But where is that the little punk Aaron? Why didn't he call to find out how she was?' asks Tad
"Tad someone beat up Aaron and left him for dead he's in the next ER room!'says Mike"do you think Kathy,,,?'
"Noo Kathy would do that! says Tad
'Yes of course not !'says Dottie soothingly "besides I was talking to one of Aaron's friends down the hall .Deion something or other he says 'He thinks Aaron's mother did this!'
'What Aaron's mother?Caitlin did this? Oh my that would explain a lot !I should have realized what it was !I'm a fool he said he got those bruises playing football!Why did I not realize he was covering for her?Oh no TJ has been dating her!'
"Oh Tad how am I going to tell him the girlfriend I introduced him to did this?'asks Dottie
"We don't know that!'says Mike
"Mike you know better than most that parent abusers are good at hiding what and who they are to the world!'says Dottie softly and tenderly reaching out to Mike
"Ya I guess I just am shocked that a mom would do that I mean isn't she some big Doc shrink?Maybe that's the problem everyone knows shrinks are all slightly crazy!'says Mike
'I have to phone T.J and even if he gets mad at me I have to tell him my suspicions!'says Dottie
"Parent abusers always blame someone else!'says Tad
"That's right I mean what he said! says Mike trying to sound like Tad
"Poor Aaron we have to help him Tad I mean obviously this has been going on for awhile!'says Dottie
"I'll do what I can I'll try to get him away from his mom but Kathy is my first priorty I also don't want to upset her!'says Tad
"Hello Tad,Dottie!Kathy has been stabilized but she's still could have another attack!do you have any idea what brought this on?'aks David
"Apparently Jenny told Kathy Aaron was seeing another girl and Kathy went over there to confront him and something happened she came back home and collapsed!'says Tad
"That is to much stress!And she was out of bed we prescribed complete bedrest!'says David
'Where is Dr.Seabrooke?' asks Tad
"She was called out of town!'says David but she'll be back tomorrow!'In the mean time I'm keeping Kathy here!'You should all get a good night rest and come back in the morning I'll be here monitoring her and I'll let you know if anything changes immendiately1'says David
"I'll go and take the kids Tad !'says Dottie
"Thanks! did I ever tell you how much I love you !You knew I'd stay that will help!'says Tad
"I want to stay with daddy!' says Jenny whining like a samll child
"I want to stay with Daddeeee!' says Mike in a singsong voice making fun of Jenny
"You're a jerk!'says Jenny
"That's not what you're friend Rose said when she came over !She said I was cute and charming and....'says Mike needling
"You stay away from my friends you cretin!'says Jenny
"That's enough! Both of you were in a hospital! Your sister is ill!Try to get along and go home with Dottie !I'll call if there any problems but you two have school tomorrow!'says Tad sounding like the father he is
"Sorry Tad ,Sorry dad!' says Jenny and Mike at he same time and then Jenny sticks out her tongue at Mike!
They then leave with Dottie.Tad sees Caitlin and goes up to her
"How could you how could you hurt your son like that?' Tad asks
"Me? But I didn't do this!'says Cailtin incredulously
"Sure he fell down some stairs all on his own got all those bruises just from playing football!'says Tad sarcsticly
"Are you accusing me of this I can't believe you'd think that I do this to my own son Cailtin says tearing up
"Can it lady I'm with Tad! Did you do this to your own son? And before you anwswer this is a police enquiry so you'd better answer correctly or I can hold it against you!'says Jesse coming up
"I came home after being out of town and found teens making out in my house!I did not see my son when they left I found him at the bottom of the stairs!!'states Caitlin
"That's not the story I got from his friends lady!Deion Masters and a Jayla Banks were in your room and a Nicholas Zrsky(pronouncd zersky)and Mariah Frederickson were in your home having a party with Aaron and Keisha Erickson! You came home yelled at them as they were in various states of dress and threw them out .You were alone with Aaron.Nick and Deion sent the girls home and waited for a few minutes to see if Aaron was okay and heard you threaten him and then a thud as Aaron tumbled down the stairs!
"Nonsense I found him at the bottom of the stairs!Yes those girls went home and those boys must have came back in and must have pushed Aaron down the stairs!'says Caitlin
"is this your statement that you didn't hurt your son that those teen boys must have?'asks Jesse
"Yes that's what I'm saying!'Is that all I want to find out how my son is says Caitlin looking worried as we see Cailtin's face ease and change into a more take charge person
"Yes that's all for now!'says Jesse
"Jesse you need to arrest her she tried to kill her son!'says tad as Caitlin walks away
"You know and I know that but I have to have more proof there are no witnesses for now and no evidence although I will be seeking his medical records!Don't worry Tad if she did this I'm going to nail the bitch!'says Jesse fiercefullythen contnuing he asks"How is Kathy doing?
"Better but David says she's not out of the woods!I'm so terrifed Jesse what if something happens to my little girl?'says Tad
"She's going to be okay Tad she's got the best doctor around and didn't you and Angie tell me she also had that Doctor Seabrooke!Hang in there Tad!says Jesse

Jesse says "Got to get on this case I'll be back in a little while!"to Tad
Over the loudspeaker comes "paging Dr.Clater ,Dr,.Hayward to the Er stat!'as Dr.Hayward and Dr.Clater come running to Kathy's room
Tad stares and thinks aloud "why is Dr.Clater going into Kathy's room He's a obstetrician?'then he gets this look first of surprise then a chilling horror on his face as he says aloud"Kathy is pregnant!Oh no like Dixie the baby can kill her!'Oh God why again?'
