Happy Valley- Part 20- Kathy's Dilemma

Happy Valley Hospital
Over the loudspeaker is heard "Paging Dr.Clater ,Dr.Hayward to the ER stat!
Dr.Clater and Dr.Hawyard come running
Tad stares at them going in Kathy's room and thinks "Why is Dr.Calter going in Kathy's room?He'an obstetrician!then he gets a look on his face of absolute shock and says"Kathy's pregnant like Dixie the baby will kill her!Oh god why is this happening again?"
In Kathy's room they are fantically trying to save her !Kathy is suddenly look at herself in her bed as they work on her.Kathy walks towards the light and sees a beautiful place like Pigeon Hollow! As she looks around her mother Dixie comes out of the mist in front of her!
"Mother ,Mommy am I dead?"Kathy asks
"No baby you're not dead you have to fight!Not only for yourself but for others!'says Dixie
'Mommy I wanted to see you so much!'says Kathy
'I know baby you've gone through so much but I've been there for you baby every step of the way!"
"Really you've been there!'asks Kathy
"Yes baby I wish you could have seen me!'says Dixie "I tried to keep him from taking you and dottie.She's perfect for your father she'll make him happy!
"I was kidnapped by an evil man!"says Kathy
"I know sweetie and I kept him from killing you I woke up Emily-Ann.'says Dixie as Emily -Ann
appears beside her
"I thought for a minute I saw her you know but then I knew I had to save you and Dottie!'says Emily-Ann
"Did Ruth really see you mommy?'asks Kathy
"Yes I knew it was Emily-Ann's time and Ruth needed to say goodbye!Children can sometimes see us clearly even not in dreams so I went to her!says Dixie
'I need you so much mommy I can't tell Dottie that I'm pregnant or Daddy.Oh no the baby is it okay? 'asks Kathy
"I don't know honey but if for some reason your baby doesn't survive I promise I'll take good care of my grandchild "says Dixie
"Mommy if you know about the baby do you know about how this happened?' she asks embarrassed
"Yes I know about the migraine pills you took!'says Dixie frowning
"Aaron took advantage of me!'says Kathy"I hate him!'
"Kathy to be fair to Aaron you did seem like you were interested!'says Dixie
"You're my mother you're suppose to be on my side!'says Kathy
"I'm always on your side but Aaron was tempted by you watch and see she says as she shows Kathy what really happened after Kathy took the pill!
Flashback
Kathy is saying to Aaron at Marissa and Tim's
"I don't want to wait any longer the kids are asleep I love you come to bed with me!'
"But Jenny what if the kids wake up besides are you really sure?'asks Aaron
"I'm very sure!' says Kathy seductively kissing Aarons she takes his hand and leads him to the bedroom where she begins taking off her shirt!
Flashback to Kathy talking to Dixie once again
"That's what happened really that's what happened but I accused him of rape!'exclaims Kathy
"I know honey and Aaron is in a world of hurt not only from knowing you didn't remember what he remembered as the most special moment of his life but also as his mother is broken!'says Dixie sadly
" What do you mean?'asks Kathy
'Aaron is close to death!'His mother found out about your pregnancy and she is a very ill woman.This is hard to explain !She suffered when she was young and fractured!She is not always Cailtin !She becomes other people she doesn't remember!When she was one of those other people she hurt Aaron she beat him and pushed him down the stairs!'explains Dixie
'Aaron is very close to death but I think you can save him Kathy!"says Dixie
"Me ,me save him I don't have that kind of power!'says Kathy"He cheated on me!Besides I've got my own battle going on now I'm here aren't I"
"Kathy you love Aaron and Aaron loves you! He was hurt and yes he almost made a big mistake with Keisha but he was hurt lost and he loves you!He needs you Kathy !His mother is going to need a lot of care and he doesn't have anyone to turn to!'explains Dixie"you can win your battle if you fight but Aaron is worn down he needs someone to help him fight!
"Who is that ?'asks Kathy pointing to a woman who is now moving closer to them!
"Someone who very much wants to talk to you!'says Dixie"this is Emma Lavery Curry!'
"Emma Lavery! I don't use the evil man's name!'Emma says corecting
"Who are you?I don't understand!'says Kathy
"I'm Caitlin's mother and Aaron's grandmother!I have a lot to make up for!'says Emma "So I'm kind of in the weigh station until I make up for what evil I've done Icansee heaven but I can't enter! "You see I got drunk for years I drank to escape my own problems and I allowed my little girl and all my children to suffer from their father!"says Emma"Caitlin was treated so badly!A neighbour hurt her because I wasn't there to stop them.I was passed out drunk and if that wasn't bad enough her father beat her for it!He blamed her for that horrible man who raped her!Erin comforted her was there for her for years.Erin was such a sweet girl.She's here somewhere but until I make up for my sins I can't see her!'Caitlin pulled herself together but then she met him that McGillis man Aaron's father.He was all charm but the minute he married her he was like Patrick!Not a drunk like Patrick but abusive in a way that some woman don't catch on because like me and Cailtin they've been trained to please their men!'She broke and now the evil that grew in her is taking over and harming my grandson!Please Kathy please save him! I'm begging you for my savation and Catilin's save my grandson!'begs Emma
"Wow you people sure expect a lot from me!'says Kathy incredulously
"It's time baby IYou have to go back sweetie but remember I love you!says Dixie disappearing
"Great things are expected from great people and Kathy you are one of those" comes a older voice we can't quite seein the mist "You are strong like your namesake!"
"Thank you dear Kate' says Dixie still enter into the light but disappearing a baby now in her arms
"Goodbye great grandaughter '!I'm expecting great things from the grandaughter who bares my name!says Kate Martin"I'm sorry dear we'll take good care of my grandson!as Kathy looks at her body fading Kathy find herself back in her own body struggling to breathe but suceeding
she hears "Dr. Hayward says she's back Thank God,Thank -you Dixie!"
"She's lost the baby I'm afraid !'says Dr.Clater
"I'm sorry because I know Kathy wanted the baby but I have to admit this will help her heart heal easier!'says David
"I lost the baby? says Kathy coming fully awake and starting to cry
"I'm sorry Kathy!'says David as Tad comes in and seeing Kathy crying knows the bay is lost
"I'm sorry baby I love you!'says Tad trying to comfort her
"Oh Daddy you knew? "asks Kathy
"I only found out a few minutes ago but baby you could have told me you can tell me anything I won't judge you!'says Tad
"Daddy I was pregnant and the baby is gone!'cries Kathy
"I'm so sorry Kathy!'says Tad again
"Daddy I saw Mommy and Grandma Kate sort of and Emily-Ann!'Kathy says still crying about the baby
Tad looks at David as if to confirm that this was possible
"She was dead for a moment Tad we lost her!'says David
'Oh my God baby I don't ever want to lose you!'says Tad"I'm so sorry you lost your baby!'
"You won't Dad Grandma Kate says I'm strong like her!But there is someone who needs our help mommy ,Grandma Kate and Emma Lavery want me to help Aaron.His mother beat him tonight!'says Kathy"And mommy and Grandma Kate promised they'd take good care of little Aaron!
"How did you know that ?'asks Tad shocked
"I told you Mom told me and so did his Grandma!'says Kathy
"Well you have to rest let me handle this for awhile I promise I'll help him Kathy"says Tad fesrful of Kathy taking on too much again
"But I thought he raped you how could you help him ?'asks David hearing this
"He didn't rape me I was mad at him because I thought I hadn't really agreed but I did !'says Kathy"I agreed so it wasn't rape!Aaron needs help and I'm going to help him!
"Oh sorry!' says David would you excuse me I'll be right back!'David steps out of the room
That was weird why did he think that ?'asks Tad
"I don't know says Kathy not wanting to admit to Tad that that's what she accused Aaron of!
'Oh no what have I done?' asks David softly aloud composing himself
He picks up his phone and calls Colleen getting her voice mail so he texts
"I have to see you tomorrow when you get back! meet you at Dottie's at 6pm!It's urgent! David!he says leaving the message
Then stepping back into Kathy's room
"So you need to rest and relax and take it very easy Kathy.Your body needs time to recoup and recover !I believe with time medicine and rest that your heart will recover!'says David
"That's good thanks David thanks for saving my little girl' says Tad genuinely choking up a little
"It's my job besides I did it for Dixie!' David says
"Daddy go talk to Aaron tell him I sent you tell him I said I love him and that I'm not mad anymore and that he has to fight!'says Kathy
"I will Baby I will!'says Tad"I love you!'
"Love you too Daddy!'
